2[3] 2 Modem UPnP 02-10-2006

This shows how to get to UPnP on this device. When compared to the Linksys pages you can get the idea that UPnP can be anywhere, which is more the purpose of these Pictures.

The Navigation to here is Advanced > NAPT and then the fourth tab, as the yellow highlights and arrows show.

SAgem Modem UPnP

As another example to prove the settings can be anywhere, here is my current Sagem Modem settings for UPnP.

You can see it is in Advanced and then it's Own page.

It also displays the "hops" I was talking about on the Linksys page and the Time to Live before closing after inactivity.

In my case both the Hops and the Time to Live settings have been changed from the Defaults of 4 Hops and 30 mins.

This link shows the D-Link I have been using has it in Tools and then Misc.

About This Page

The Thomson-Alcatel's UPnP setting.

Apart from showing owners where this is set the main purpose to to highlight the setting can be anywhere in the Set Up pages of your device.

Compatibility

Confirmed to work with Win/IE 5.5 and later (should work in 5.0, but not confirmed), Firefox 2, Safari 3, Opera 9, iCab 3.02 and later, Mac/IE 5, Netscape 6 and later

Old browsers (IE version 4 or earlier, Netscape 4 or earlier) should only see a text-based page which, while not the prettiest option, is still entirely usable.
